Playing the Online Casino Card Game “War”
There are plenty of ways to have fun when visiting your favorite online casino. You can spend some time at the free slot machines games or perhaps enjoy a couple games of craps or roulette, but what about those not so popular games that you have at hand? One of these not so well-known online casino games is called War. The game of War might no be so popular amongst online players however this is a popular card game for many that used to play it back when they were growing up.
War is one of the easiest and uncomplicated online casino games around. There isn’t a great deal of skill involved in this game and all players really need to do is be able to count and tell apart the difference between Jacks, Queens and Kings. The simplicity of War is indeed what brings many new players closer to the game each day, especially since players feel that they can profit from a card game that is not full of rules and difficult twists and turns.
The rules in War are pretty basic as each of the cards are ranked as in the game of poker with Aces being the highest, followed by Kings, Queens, Jacks, 10’s, 9’s etc. Suits are not important. Each player, including the War dealer, is dealt one card facing up. In those situations where the player’s card is higher than that of the House, then the player is declared the winner, and naturally the other way around. When the player’s card ties that of the dealer’s , then they can choose to either go to War against the dealer (in which case the player needs to double their first bet) or surrender by giving up 50% of their original bet. If the player goes to War, then both the player and the dealer are dealt another card face up. If the player’s 2nd card is greater than that of the dealer’s, the player will win their original bet.
