What to do if a casino slot malfunctions
This short article is intended for those that play at online casinos. It is not for those that play at land-based casinos although the same principles could apply.
With today’s technology many things can happen. The current technology employed for creating online casino games is very advanced but as with all technology, there can be technical errors. It is not completely uncommon to be playing an online slot when suddenly the software gets stuck and you can click on any button. The software is completely frozen and in very bad cases, your computer is as well. You are obliged to reboot your entire computer and return to the casino once your computer has restarted. Although those extreme situations may occur, there are others less hazardous but equally disturbing. Another case of technical error is when you hit an established jackpot and the slot game does not pay it out. What do you do in those situations?
If your computer freezes in the middle of a hand or game; or if you don’t get paid out the correct amount for a jackpot, the first thing you must do is stop playing and do not resume your play until you contact the customer service or management of the casino you’re playing at. Some online casino software have an identification number for ever play. Write that number down and contact the casino. In some cases it is also useful to take a screen shot of the problem. In order to do that simply locate the button on your keyboard that says “Print Screen” or “Prt Scr” and press it simultaneously with the Control or CTRL button. That will record a picture of your current screen in the computer’s clipboard. Then open PAINT program and copy/paste the image by pressing CTRL button and letter V simultaneously. That will leave the picture of your screen on the Paint canvas. Simply “Save As” the document to a location on your computer where you can remember and send that to the casino. They will be able to help you much better if you provide this evidence and don’t continue to wager on ANY game.
